I see in your face wet, brown earth rearing pulsating seeds!
I see in your eyes, billion stories of life dancing with delight!!
I see at your lips a sensuous song promising to resuscitate hope n love with their feather-like touch!!!

    1. That’s one of the brilliant ways to respond to a poet’s work, Vinod sir!

Why choose between two? In fact, why choose at all?

    1. Shyamanuja sir, we writers always leave the scope of multiple versions of one reality. I guess we all can perceive more than one attribute in a person. What do you say?

That is exactly what I am saying. Since the consumer (for want of a better word) of the art is as important as the creator in traditional Indian aesthetics, igniting a spark in the former’s mind is supreme. Call it rasa or dhwani but it is a little subtler than the “objective correlative.”. Be a friend, be a philosopher…try not to guide.

As nicely illustrated in the reply of Mr Vinod. He takes his liberty. And that is actually the success of your work.
